I had built/designed and coded the last two versions of darrenhendrix.com, but i haven’t had enough time, or training in programming to make it the way i wanted it this time around. Went on a little midwest adventure this last week. Lots of picture taking, great food eating and walking took place. Chicago is an awesome city.
i’m not super into all the iphone camera apps, but i did have some fun with ‘em on this trip. I used a combination of magic hour and diptic on this collage thing.

Kaysie Lackey, the baker/cooker/teacher extraordinaire and owner of The People’s Cake, was back in town for a couple of days and invited me to shoot some new images with her for a cool new project she’s working on. Can’t wait to see it take off.

something different
Just so you know, I wasn’t eaten by zombies and i didn’t stop shooting. Summer and Fall have kept me slammed and I’ve been doing lots of .com/retail stuff. It may not be glamorous, but it’s still fun when your with a good crew.
